## Account

### What happens to my signed-in devices after I reset my password?

Setting a new password ends every active Inki session. Sign in again on each device with your new password.

### What happens when I delete my account?

Delete your account from Settings > Account in a desktop browser, the Mac app, the iOS app, or a mobile browser. You don't need to reinstall the app. If you can't complete deletion, email [hello@inki.so](mailto:hello@inki.so) from your registered address with the subject "Inki account deletion request" and ask to delete your account and data. We'll verify your identity before proceeding. Contact us if you can't access that email address. Don't send your password.

Deletion removes your notes, folders, assistant conversations, profile, and settings across all devices and can't be undone. [Export](/en/features/notebook-operations#export) any writing you need first. Some account, transaction, and fraud-prevention records are retained; backups aren't erased immediately.

Uninstalling the app doesn't delete your account or cancel subscriptions. Deleting your account stops renewal of a plan purchased on the web. App Store subscriptions aren't cancelled automatically, so cancel yours in Apple's subscription settings before deleting your account.

### Who owns the copyright for content generated with Inki?

You own all rights to content generated with Inki.

## Privacy and Security

### Is my writing used to train AI?

No. Your content is never used for AI model training. We send requests to AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and Fireworks) for processing, but our contracts guarantee they won't use your data for training.

### What data are the AI models trained on?

Inki uses models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. These models are trained on publicly available datasets and text data collected by each company.

### Does Inki use my input data for machine learning training?

No. We never use your input data for machine learning training without your explicit consent. We'll only use your data for training if you specifically opt in.

### What's your security setup?

We're ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) certified for software development and operations. We respect user privacy and maintain data confidentiality. See our [Security Policy](https://then.co.jp/security) for details.

### What personal information do you collect?

We may collect your name, address, phone number, email, payment information, support inquiries, usage history, and cookie data. See our Privacy Policy (Article 2) for details.
