## About Inki

### What is Inki?

Inki is an AI text editor. You can use AI in the editor to brainstorm, draft, and revise blogs, reports, business documents, and other writing.

## Plans and Pricing

### Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan gives you monthly credits to use AI features.

### What are credits?

Credits are units consumed when you use AI features like generating or editing text. See [Plans & Pricing](/en/plans-pricing) for details.

### When do credits reset?

Monthly credits are added and reset every month on both monthly and annual plans. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. Bonus credits, purchased credits, and plan carryover credits can carry over.

### Can I buy more credits?

Yes, on the Pro and Max plans.

### When do plan changes take effect?

* **Upgrade**: Takes effect immediately, and a new billing period starts.
* **Downgrade**: Takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan until then.

### How am I charged when upgrading plans?

When you upgrade, a new billing period starts and you are charged for the new plan.

Unused credits become plan carryover credits only when you switch immediately from a paid monthly plan to the same plan billed annually, or to a higher plan billed monthly or annually. Changes from an annual plan and changes to a lower plan are not eligible. See [Plans & Pricing](/en/plans-pricing) for details.

### What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card only (via Stripe).
