Overview
Inki lets you create notes and organize them in folders when needed. You can also use notes without creating a folder.Create a Note
- Click “New note” in the sidebar
- Enter a title and start writing
Organize Notes in Folders
- Click “New folder” in the sidebar
- Enter a folder name
- Add custom instructions if needed
Custom Instructions
Add custom instructions for the AI Assistant to each folder. Examples:- “Write casually without formal language”
- “Prefer English for technical terms”
Share and Manage Notes
Sharing
- Open the note and click “More” > “Share” at the top
- Change “Private” to “Public”
- Click “Copy link” and send the link to the people you want to share with
Version History
- Click “More” > “History” at the top of the note
- Select a date and time from the history list
- Review the preview, then click “Restore this version” to restore it
Export
- Open the note and click “More” > “Export” at the top
- Choose “HTML”, “Markdown”, or “PDF”
Insert an Image
In a desktop browser, you can add a PNG, JPEG, or another image from your computer to the note body.- Create an empty line where you want the image and type
/ - Choose “Image” from the menu
- Click “Upload image” in the note body and choose a file
- Wait for the upload to finish and the image to appear in the note
