What is Inki?
Inki is an AI-native text editor. AI works directly in your editor and supports your complete writing workflow, from brainstorming to polishing. Built for any writing task: sales proposals, reports, blog posts, emails, and more.
Plans and Pricing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes a set number of generations, edits, and text completions each month.
When do plan changes take effect?
- Upgrade: Immediate. You’ll be charged a prorated amount for the difference.
- Downgrade: Next billing cycle. You keep your current plan limits through the end of the month.
How am I charged when upgrading plans?
Upgrades are prorated. If you upgrade from Light to Pro mid-month, you’ll only pay the difference for the remaining days.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card only (via Stripe).
Features
What can I write with Inki?
Anything. Blogs, emails, proposals, reports, novels, and more. Sales proposals, marketing plans, blog articles, research reports - Inki works for all writing tasks.
What does the project learn?
Each project learns two things:
- Page content: Summaries of each page
- Writing style: Your writing patterns
Benefits:
- Page content learning: AI assistant references past materials for contextual responses
- Writing style learning: AI matches your tone and style for consistent, efficient writing
You can turn each type of learning on or off.
What are the file upload limits?
In chat, you can upload up to 5 files and 512MB total. Supported formats include PDF, images, audio, and video.

Who owns the copyright for content generated with Inki?
You own all rights to content generated with Inki.
Technical Requirements
Which browsers are supported?
Recommended: Latest version of Google Chrome
Other common browsers (Firefox, Edge, Safari) generally work but may have issues with some features.
Does Inki work on mobile?
Not currently. Inki is designed for desktop and laptop computers.

Privacy and Security
Is my writing used to train AI?
No. Your content is never used for AI model training. We send requests to AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, etc.) for processing, but our contracts guarantee they won’t use your data for training.
What data are the AI models trained on?
Inki uses models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. These models are trained on publicly available datasets and text data collected by each company.
No. We never use your input data for machine learning training without your explicit consent. We’ll only use your data for training if you specifically opt in.
What’s your security setup?
We’re ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) certified for software development and operations. We respect user privacy and maintain data confidentiality. See our Security Policy for details.
