Paste Markdown
In a desktop browser or the Mac app, pasting Markdown into a note imports formatting such as headings and lists. For combinations the note editor doesn’t support, the content stays in the note with these layout changes:- Lists, headings, code blocks, and tables inside a quote appear outside the quote, in their original order
- Code blocks, tables, and similar blocks inside a list item appear after that item. The numbered list resumes with the next item’s number
- Footnotes remain as literal Markdown text and aren’t converted into Inki citations
