Create Your First Page

1. Create a Project

Projects organize your documents like folders.
  1. Click “New Project” in the sidebar
  2. Pick a category (blog, email, proposal, etc.)
  3. Enter a name
AI will learn your writing style from this project and help you write consistently. It’ll also reference past documents for better suggestions.

2. Create a Page and Start Writing

  1. Click “New Page”
  2. Enter a title and start typing
  3. AI completion turns on automatically

Try AI Features

Inki has several AI features to help you write. Try them as you go.

Text Completion

Pause briefly and AI suggests what to write next in green.
  • Tab: Accept
  • Esc: Cancel

Inline Generation

Press Cmd+J or / to generate text on the spot.

AI Editing

Select text and AI will suggest improvements.

Rephrase

Select text to see different ways to say it.
