What’s in Settings
Settings are grouped differently depending on where you use Inki.
In the iOS app and mobile browsers, Settings also includes “Trash”. See Organize and Find Notes.
Appearance
In “Appearance”, you can change:- Theme: Auto, Light, or Dark. Auto follows your device setting
- Language: The interface language (Japanese or English)
- Font: Standard, Classic, or Focus
- Text size: Set the editor and chat text sizes separately to Small, Default, Large, or Extra Large
Turn AI Features On or Off
Turn AI Edit, Inline Generation, and Rephrase on or off in “AI Features” in a desktop browser or the Mac app, or in “AI settings” in the iOS app or a mobile browser. See AI Editing, Inline Generation, and Rephrase for how each feature works.Account
In “Account”, you can change your display name and profile image, or log out. In the iOS app, tap your name at the top of Settings to change your display name and profile image. Options to change your email address and password appear when your account can sign in with a password. They don’t appear if you only sign in with Google or Apple. You can also delete your account from “Account”. Before you do, read “What happens when I delete my account?” in the FAQ.Rules and Memory
Review and edit the rules and memory AI uses in “Memory” in a desktop browser or the Mac app, or in “Writing rules” in the iOS app (version 1.0.9 or later) or a mobile browser. See AI Assistant for memory and Custom Instructions for rules.Plans and Notifications
Change your plan, check credits, or buy more in “Plan” and “Usage” (“Plan” in the iOS app and mobile browsers). See Plans & Pricing. In the Mac app, “Notifications” controls AI reply notifications. See the FAQ for details.Keyboard Shortcuts
In a desktop browser or the Mac app, pressCmd+/ (Ctrl+/ on Windows or Linux) to see all keyboard shortcuts. You can also click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar and choose “Help” > “Keyboard shortcuts”. The iOS app and mobile browsers don’t have a shortcut list.
